Hadsey (Sa’ada), Yossi


Ben Nurit and Albert. He was born in Tel Aviv on January 14, 1970. He studied at the Weizmann elementary school in Jaffa, then continued his high school studies at the Hadassa Neurim boarding school. Prior to his induction, Yossi completed his matriculation exams at an external high school in Petah Tikva. He was a sports fan and liked football and basketball. He also participated in a youth boxing tournament. In addition, he volunteered for the Civil Guard in Petah Tikva. He was drafted into the IDF in May 1988 and successfully completed a pre-army driving course, where he joined the Combat Engineering Corps and served in the Golan Heights, and in July 1988 received a certificate of appreciation from a senior engineering officer for his courageous efforts to defeat a terrorist who tried to attack him A year later, on May 30, 1989, Yossi fell during his service and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Petach Tikvah, leaving behind his parents, three sisters – Vicki, Etty and Ilanit and brother Shai. “Yossi served in the unit for about six months, and every job he performed was carried out with responsibility and due respect. Yossi loved the service in the Israel Defense Forces and served with great loyalty and solidarity with the struggle of the Jewish people for its freedom and its homeland. ” His parents always donated a candle to the synagogue in their neighborhood.
