Hadari, Ohad


Ohad, son of Rachel and Neta Hadari, was born in 1966 in Givat Hashlosha. Ohad continued to develop as a graduate student at Kibbutz Givat Hayim where he successfully completed 12th grade, and was a good student and a good teacher. On January 1, 1985, Ohad joined the IDF. After completing his army service, Ohad continued to serve in reserve duty whenever he was called in. In 1992 he married Ilanit, a member of Moshav Gadish. Ohad worked to educate the children about the Torah and the mitzvot, took care of the family and gave full support to his wife.
Sergeant Ohad fell in the line of duty on December 30, 2014. He was drafted into two days of reserve duty in the framework of territorial defense and was killed in a car accident when he went to the unit to receive a certificate of appreciation for his service and volunteerism over the years. Ohad was buried in the military cemetery in Afula. In Afula Ilit, as synagogue that Ohad was one of its initiators, was dedicated in his name.
