Hadar, Yoav
Yoav, son of Zohara and Meslem, was born on 15.5.1953 in Moshav Batcha in the Negev and studied at the elementary school in the moshav, Yoav was drafted into the IDF in mid-August 1971 and assigned to the Armored Corps. He was a model soldier, excelled in all the courses he took – he was a tank driver, an armored personnel carrier commander, and a commander of a armored infantry unit. He did most of his regular service in various positions in the Sinai strongholds. But when he did not fulfill his request, he devoted himself to the job he was assigned and spent nights and days to provide for the soldiers’ education needs and to take care of them for movies, entertainment evenings, newspapers and gifts Yoav served as commander of the armored infantry and armored personnel carrier, and fought in the southern sector of the Suez Canal in the battle against On October 16, 1973, Yoav participated in the counterattack To his company Chatam Road junction and the axis of Mitla.
