Habib, Amos (“Tino” and “Quinto”)
Son of Yitzhak and Mazal. He was born on May 26, 1927 in the city of Benghazi in Libya. He completed his elementary and secondary studies abroad. He served in the secret civilian police and two months after he arrived in Israel in 1951, he enlisted in the IDF and served in his homeland, and during his free time he liked to read a lot of history and war books. After completing his regular service he joined the career army and served for thirteen years and four months The sixth of the battles of the Six-Day War, was on the 6th of Sivan 5727 (10.6.1967) in possession of a landmine planted by the enemy.
