Gutman, Shraga
Son of Breina-Fruma and Zvi, was born in 1925 in the city of Zolkowka, Poland. In 1936 the entire family immigrated to Israel and settled in Jerusalem. After completing seventh grade at the Tachkemoni school he studied car repair and driving and worked in this field. He joined the Etzel underground and took part in its activities in Jerusalem, and in 1947 he moved to the Haganah, where he joined the Haganah and volunteered to repair cars that had broken down on their way to Jerusalem 10 days after his engagement, on the 13th of Adar 2, 5708 (March 24, 1948), he stepped on a mine at Sha’ar Hagai and crashed, and was buried in Ma’aleh Hahamisha. – The military cemetery at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
