Yuval studied at the Rehavia elementary school and continued to study at the high school of the Rehavia Gymnasium Yuval was a member of the “Scouts” He loved the country with its landscapes, flora and fauna, and as his friends told him, even as a child he knew all the wildlife and their characteristics, and he addressed his friends in all the questions that arose He was involved in the excavations of Kadesh-Barnea and other places, and Yuval was included in the Negev survey, and his collection of fossils and his ability to find them attested to the approach He was a quiet, thinking and deliberative boy with a sense of humor and radiant tranquility and confidence in his surroundings, and Yuval was drafted into the IDF in November 1981, And was assigned to the Golani Brigade. After a medical examination, he was transferred to a military police service. Yuval made tireless efforts to return to serving in the Golani Brigade. Yuval succeeded in serving in the Golani Brigade, and in the Lebanon War his unit participated in the battles in Burg el Barajna. On the 16th of Cheshvan 5743 (2.11.1982) Yuval fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery on Mount Herzl. He left behind his parents and two brothers. His friends in the army tell him that he was quiet, gentle, loving to help, easygoing, sometimes giving up just so as not to be dragged into arguments, and doing his job in the best possible way.
