After a medical examination, he was transferred to a military police service. Yuval made tireless efforts to return to serving in the Golani Brigade. Yuval succeeded in serving in the Golani Brigade, and in the Lebanon War his unit participated in the battles in Burg el Barajna. On the 16th of Cheshvan 5743 (2.11.1982) Yuval fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery on Mount Herzl. He left behind his parents and two brothers. His friends in the army tell him that he was quiet, gentle, loving to help, easygoing, sometimes giving up just so as not to be dragged into arguments, and doing his job in the best possible way.
