Gundby, Hosheng (Mordechai)

Son of Salomon and Simon. He was born on April 14, 1946 in the city of Hamdan Asher in Persia. The family immigrated to Israel in 1963. He graduated from elementary school and even attended ninth grade (first high school). Was drafted into the IDF in November 1964. He was replaced by the tank commander who was wounded and then hit an enemy bullet in the head and he fell in place, which was held in Kantara on the fourth day of the battles, 9 Iyar 5727 (8.6.1967) was buried in the military cemetery in Bari, and was later transferred to the eternal rest of the military cemetery in Netanya.
