Gul, Dan

Son of Yaffa and Yishaya. He was born in Afghanistan in 1920 and in 1926 he immigrated to Israel with his family, who settled in Jerusalem, where he completed his studies at the Talmud Torah elementary school, and later worked as a mechanic at Tnuva. On the 14th of Adar 2, 5703 (21.3.1943), Dan fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery on the Mount of Olives, leaving behind a father, three brothers and five sisters.
