Guetta, Shai-Chaim

Son of Shoshana and Yehuda. Born on 29.3.1979 in Tel Aviv, the eldest brother of my father, Shai came to the world after many years of his parents’ passing in an agonizing expectation for the child, so he was given his name, Shai – because his birth was a wonderful gift. In 1997 Shai was drafted into compulsory military service and began his training as a combat soldier in the ‘Weiner’ team, the training team of the “Duvdevan” unit, he was well integrated into the team and often described his commanders and friends as “brothers,” family members”. On 11.2.1998, Shai fell in service at the age of 19. He was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, and was survived by his parents and brother.
