Grossberg, Michal

Daughter of Jacob and Lola. She was born on April 26, 1932 in Tel Aviv, studied at the “Carmel” elementary school and then continued her high school studies at the Hebrew Gymnasia “Herzliya” until she completed her studies at the beginning of the War of Independence, During the battles between Tel Aviv and Jaffa. After joining the IDF, she was sent to the Engineering Corps, and on 1 st of Tishrei 5710 (October 1, 1950) she fell while fulfilling her duties and was put to rest at the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery. The family established a library for its teachers in the Carmel School.
