Gross, Zeev (Wolf)

Was born on 20 August 1924 in Gorlice, in western Galicia, to the bitter taste of the edicts decreed against the Jews during the Second World War, until he was liberated with She’erith Hapleitah and aspired to immigrate to Zion. He was a member of the Givati ​​Brigade, fought in battles in the south of the country and fell on 2 Iyar 5708 (11.5.1948), in the conquest of the Arab village on the cruise, near Yavneh-Daras house. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Rishon Letzion.
