Gross, Yoav

Yoav, son of Yosef and Pnina Gross, was born on 10 November 1938 in the Tel Yosef Farm. In the battle for the liberation of Jerusalem near the Lions’ Gate on the 27th day of Iyar 5727 (June 6, 1967), on the second day of the battles Yoav fell. He left a wife and two daughters, and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
