Groon, Moshe (Misha)


Son of Yehuda and Dora. He was born on January 23, 1954, in Vilna, Russia. He studied at the Tchernichovsky School in Vilnius (Vilna). In Russia, Moshe was a member of a sports club and especially liked wrestling. When an orchestra was organized in the school where he studied, he joined her and became a drummer. He continued to participate in the orchestra for four years. In mid-September 1969, he immigrated with his family to Israel. Moshe soon became accustomed to life in Israel, became involved in social life and worked among the youth groups in Kiryat Tivon. He joined the “Scouts” youth movement, the “Tivon” tribe, and even taught the tribe about two years. Moshe was a lively and lively boy. He loved social activity very much and took part in organizing social events. It was not long before he became known as the first of the various parties and his affection for music and dance was known among his friends. In early January 1972 he was drafted into the IDF, but on 1/9/1973, he fell during his service. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Camp David.
