Gromov, Vladislav

Vladislav, son of Lyudmila and Mikus Gromov, was born in the city of Riga, the capital of Latvia, on the 14th of Elul 5754 (21.8.1994). From his early childhood he had shown patience and perseverance. In June 2009, he immigrated to Israel with his family. His family settled in Ashdod and on July 21, 2013, Vladislav was drafted into the IDF and was assigned to the Golani Brigade. He successfully completed a sniper course. He fell during his service on 21 Kislev, December 12, 2014. He was twenty years old when he fell. He was laid to rest in the Ashdod military cemetery.
