Eldad came into the world a week just before Rosh Hashana and the Brit Milah performed on the eve of the holiday. As befitting the youngest son Eldad was the most beloved and spoiled in the house. He began studying in the 23rd grade of the Lev Tuv Elementary School in Herzliya, and at the end of the elementary school, he wrote: “Eldad is a cute, quiet character, and in class he does not always die to stand out. But everyone knows that he has / (Almost) does not bother. His hobby is to deal with computers / and everyone loves him. “Eldad continued his theoretical studies at the Rishonim High School in Herzliya, where he was considered a good student, who invested in his studies and took them very seriously. He had a strong sense of responsibility, and from his childhood he was attracted to various sports and excelled in basketball, and was a member of the “Hapoel Herzliya” sports association and played in her basketball team until At the age of sixteen, he decided to leave Despite his outstanding achievements, he continued to play basketball as a hobby, and in his youth played for a while in the Maccabi Herzliya football team and later coached a group of small children at the Yohani school in the city. He also took part in regional competitions held in the Hadar Yosef neighborhood of Tel Aviv, and was also interested in other fields he devoted to his time: he loved beautiful cars and used to photograph and visit exhibitions. He liked to listen to rock music, Hebrew and foreign, and to finance the parts of his stereo, tapes and CDs, he joined his friends who worked for vacations at the local Burger Ranch. As time went by, his friends left, but Eldad, as usual, persisted in his work, showed seriousness and devotion and soon before was appointed “shift officer”. Later, shortly before his enlistment, he was chosen as the national “outstanding worker” of the chain. At the beginning of December 1994, Eldad enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces and began to train in the Armored Corps School. He met new people and acquired many friends, and his commanders, as well as his friends in the service, were impressed by the high level of motivation he demonstrated and noted that he was an exemplary soldier: “On the journey to the tank you pushed everyone and shouted, Eldad made impressive achievements, but did not manage to complete the training stage on 26.6.1995. Yardo, who is less than nineteen years old, was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Herzliya and left parents and two sisters in a letter of condolence to the bereaved family Chief of Staff Amnon Lipkin-Shahak wrote: “Eldad was described by his commanders as a quiet and friendly soldier who liked to help and help those around him He was admired and accepted by his commanders and friends alike. ” “We, your classmates and teachers, will always remember you – with the shy smile at the end of the mouth, pleasant, always careful about the dignity of those around you: friends and teachers (and adds his father – also Parents and sisters) never hurts a friend, does not offend anyone, and perhaps the most prominent featureYours: Modesty. That amazing modesty, although you had so many reasons to be proud: You were the best student in the class in sports, with excellent ability, talented, persistent, consistent. You had excellent articulation ability in class and achieved the highest score in expression. The pen was your way to connect to the world and through it your sensitivity emerged. This sensitivity that made your inner world richer, which allowed you to experience things with greater intensity and greater pain – a sensitivity that led you, perhaps, to the end. “Eldad’s friend wrote in his memory:” Strive not to be late. / Only at the beginning. / To run ahead with you, the whole department. / To put a hand, to give a word that will encourage you, / When carrying the heaviest Fekel. / To give a lot of help, even without getting rewarded / To be good quietly, Even when not everyone sees, ” To commemorate Eldad is called the “Outstanding Burger Ranch” employee competition.
