Greenstein, Shmuel-Itzhak-Chaim


Son of Refael and Chaya. Born on July 23, 1925. His family perished in the Holocaust and he immigrated to Israel in 1949 and was among the defenders in the camps in Cyprus. After completing his regular service, he joined the permanent army and on the 8th of Adar 5726 (March 8, 1966), he died of the disease during his service and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. He left a wife and two children. With the donation of his wife, a library was established in his name at the “Pirchi Aharon” High School in Kiryat Shmuel – a library that includes holy books and books.
