Greenberg, Natan


Natan Grenberg, son of Margalit and Yaakov, was born on the 12th of Kislev 5708 (25.11.1947) in Jerusalem. Natan was recruited to the IDF in early November 1965 and was assigned to the Intelligence Corps, where he took a communications technician course and an intelligence technician course. During the Yom Kippur War, Nathan volunteered to serve in his unit, even though he was exempt from reserve service, due to his work in the Merchant Navy. On October 15, 1973, Natan was injured in a car accident in central Israel and later died in the hospital. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Survived by his parents and two brothers. After his death he was promoted to sergeant.
