Israel, son of Binyamin and Sarah Goz, was born on September 2, 1936 in Proskorov, Russia (Ukraine). In 1947, Israel immigrated to Israel with his mother. He studied and completed his studies at the Netzach Israel Elementary School in Haifa. In August 1954, he was drafted into the IDF and served in the regular army. In 1967, he completed his studies at the Hebrew Technion in Haifa, but did not receive his graduation certificate, because on the eve of the Six-Day War he was called to serve in the battles of Sinai, near Abu-Agila, and on the 28th of Iyar 5727 (7.6.1967), he fell. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa. The Ort school in Afula called the technology room after him.
