Son of Tzipora and Yehuda, was born on 12 August 1951. When Danny was two years old, the Guri family moved to Eilat, where Danny attended elementary school A. In the Yom Kippur War he fought as a pilot in the Phantom, and participated in air battles and bombing enemy targets. In one of the battles, Danny dropped an Egyptian MiG. The commander of his squadron told him: “Danny fought with honors in the Yom Kippur War in a phantom squadron, was one of its best fighters and pilots.” Shortly after the war, when he was about to take off on one of his flights, a plane crashed and Danny was hit and hospitalized. In 1974 Danny rose to the rank of captain and continued to train and train combat pilots. There was a mishap on the plane and the two tried to get out of it, but failed. The plane crashed, along with Danny and his son. He was 32 years old when he died. Danny was laid to rest in the Rehovot cemetery. He left behind a wife, eight months pregnant, a mother, brother and sister.
