Gordon, Meir

Meir Gordon, son of Yosef and Fruma, was born in Lithuania on June 8, 1951. He immigrated to Israel with his family in 1973. In April 1974 he was drafted to the IDFand was assigned to the Air Force. After basic training, and after completing various courses, he was sent to the Air Force Technical School for training. On April 17, 1976, Meir fell during his service. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Holon. Survived by his parents and sister. After his death he was promoted to Corporal.
