Beloved son of Ruth and Yaakov. David Menahem was born in the United States on May 11, 1993. He was the third child of his parents, the brother of Naomi, Aaron, and Sarah Baila, and in May 2013 David Menachem immigrated to Israel. Three months later, on August 13, and since then bravely served as a decorated sharpshooter in the Givati ​​Brigade. David was a source of inspiration to the people who served with him. David was a talented and promising writer and his work continues to help, strengthen, and inspire others. Corporal David Menahem fell during his service on the 23rd of Av 5744 (August 19, 2014). Twenty-one years old. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl, Jerusalem. Survived by parents, two sisters, a brother and many extended family and friends that miss him daily.
