Son of Sophia and Felix. He was born on 16.9.1974 in Tashkent, the Soviet Union. The eldest son of his parents. Gennady attended elementary school in the Soviet Union and continued at the Technological College. From childhood, he was happy and cheerful, surrounded by friends, loved by his friends in school and favored by the teachers. When he grew up, his devotion to his family stood out. Gennady helped his mother as much as he could and when his younger brother Roman was born, accompanied his growth, played with him and accompanied him to kindergarten. In 1992, when the waves of mass immigration from the Soviet Union increased, Gennady’s desire to immigrate to Israel, which he considered his homeland, increased, and he succeeded in persuading his mother to immigrate to Israel. Gennady was happy when he and his mother and brother arrived in Israel for a Hebrew ulpan at Kibbutz Ein Harod Meuhad. He acquired the language and became acquainted with the way of life in the kibbutz and in Israel. At the end of the studio, the family set up their home in Ashdod. Gennady was very keen to serve the country, which he saw as his homeland, and was chosen to take a course in truck drivers in the framework of the IDF’s pre-military training program. . On December 2, 1993, Gennady was killed in a car accident at the Rakefet outpost in the security zone in southern Lebanon. Gennady was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Ashdod, leaving behind his parents and brother in a letter of consolation to the bereaved family: “Gennady lost his life while fulfilling his duties on the Lebanese border.
