Goncharov, Alexander
Ben Zinaida and Pavel. Born on May 25, 1981 in the city of Gomel, Belarus (former Soviet Union). Brother Lora. Alex spent his early years in elementary school in his hometown. When he was nine years old, in October 1990, he immigrated to Israel with his family, and they settled in Tiberias. Alex began to study at the “Erlich” elementary school and continued to the “Amal” high school. Alex loved life and tried to exhaust every moment. He loved dance very much – especially Salsa, he loved music and songs by Eyal Golan, and even sang himself. As someone who loved to travel, he had a dream of traveling and seeing the world. Ben Masur was a loving brother who always cared for his family. After completing his studies, Alex worked for two years, and then, in mid-April 2001, enlisted in the Navy and served at the “Batzat” base on 17.3.2002. Alex was killed by a train as he crossed the railway tracks near the Paz bridge in Haifa. He was twenty-one years old when he fell. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Tiberias. He was followed by parents and a sister.
