Golubov, Shlomo-Haim


Son of Yitzhak and Ora. Born on the 28th of Sivan 5707 (7.6.1956) in Haifa and studied at the Be’eri elementary school in the city. He continued his studies at the international vocational high school in the mechanical track and completed his studies as part of the training of the Ein Carmel youth group in Haifa. Shlomo was a withdrawn and quiet boy. He was kind and acceptable to those around him. When he was five, his parents separated and he grew up in his grandmother’s house. He did not sever his ties with the parents and often spend time with them and stay with them. The harsh economic conditions in his home taught him to take care of himself from an early age and he was a mature and independent boy. Shlomo was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in 1974 and assigned to serve in the Israel Air Force, during which he served in several units of the Israel Air Force, and as his commanders testify, he was willing and willing to fulfill any role assigned to him. On May 15, 1975, Shlomo died during his service. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
