Goldzweig, Yaron
Son of Arieh and Ruth. Born on the 23rd of Adar 5737 (26.3.1957) in Haifa. He completed his studies in the elementary and high school of the Reali in Haifa with the aim of orientalism and a sign in Arabic. He was a member of the Scouts movement, the Carmel tribe, near the Reali School in Haifa for eight years. His most prominent hobby was listening to classical music, and he studied piano for five years. His estate contained eighty records of classical music. Yaron was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in August 1975 and was assigned to the Intelligence Corps when he was a graduate of an oriental movement, and he signed a regular service for another year, as required in his position as a soldier. On the 10th of Av 5736 (6.8.1976) Yaron fell in the line of duty, and he was 19. He was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa and left behind his parents and sister. In a letter of condolence to the grieving family, his commander wrote: “Yaron was modest and tortured, who performed his tasks impeccably. He won the appreciation of his commanders and fellow soldiers, and we were blessed with him. He had a strong desire to serve in the front territories, a desire that stemmed from the feeling that there he could contribute his best and so would we remember him. “His parents commemorated him by donating to the Boys’ Fund at the Reali School in Haifa, – Book to continue their studies.
