Goldstein, Yaron


Son of Yitzhak and Shoshana. He was born on February 6, 1957 in Kiryat Gat, where he studied at the Sprinzak Elementary School and continued his studies at the Rogozin Comprehensive High School. Rav was a member of the youth movement Hashomer Hatzair as a member of Kibbutz Dvir, and was particularly interested in paranormal phenomena and hidden teachings, such as telepathy, reincarnation, futurism and oddities in the past and in the past. His excellent humor and his good Lev, in his attitude to people, he avoids discriminating between man and man, between young and old, keeping friendships with many people because of his great willingness to help Val and his devotion to his friends. Yaron was drafted into the IDF in July 1975 and volunteered for the Navy. After basic training, he took a course in naval training and an officers’ course and was sent to a naval base in southern Israel as deputy commander of a ship. His promotion was very fast. Within a short period of time he was appointed commander of the ship and volunteered for the permanent army. His personal qualities soon gave him many friends, in the framework of his military service, with various ranks and positions. On the 27th of Adar 5739 (27.3.1979) Yaron fell while performing his duties at sea. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Gat. Survived by his parents and brother. After his fall he was promoted to captain. His parents organized a basketball tournament in his memory, within the Kiryat Gat Community Center.
