Goldschmidt, Zev-Dov
Son of Gershon and Chava Leah. He was born on January 1, 1932, in Poland. During World War II, the family sat in the Soviet Union and attended elementary school there. After the war he and his parents went to refugee camps in Austria and Germany. In Munich, Germany he attended an ORT vocational school. In 1949, the entire family arrived in Israel. In April 1950 he was drafted into the IDF, and five months later, on 20 September 1950, he fell in the line of duty and was put to rest at the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery.
