Son of-Mendel and Tova. Born on May 15, 1952 in Tel Aviv, he studied at the Amishav Elementary School in Ramat Gan and at the Blich High School in Ramat Hen and was a member of the Scouts movement in Ramat Gan and the youth movement (Soccer and table tennis), chess and loops.Ron was a talented and quick-paced man, who was especially astute in his arithmetic calculations because of the speed of his writing, which stemmed from the need to keep up with his fast pace of thinking, His handwriting was unreadable and he was drafted into the IDF in mid-December 1970. On Wednesday, November 22, 1971, he was killed while serving. In a letter of consolation sent by Ron’s commander on behalf of his friends and commanders, Ron wrote: “I met Ron at the beginning of his career in the IDF as a trainee in a training base. Ron was placed in my unit seven months ago, when he set himself great challenges and tried to rise and become a factor in the same unit and in the special place where he was stationed. Ron turned out to be a devoted, responsible, social and pleasant soldier with his friends and friends. The family donated, after Roni, money to renovate the synagogue where he prayed in Ramat Gan and erected a memorial plaque there with a candle, and the family also established a library named after Roni at the Amishav school, , Where he studied.
