In New York he studied for four years and when he was 11, his family immigrated to Israel in 1958 and settled in Nahariya. Where he continued his studies at the Chaim Weizmann elementary school and went to study mechanics at the “Amal” school in Kibbutz Afikim. Before the Six-Day War broke out, about a month before graduation, Moshe volunteered with some of his friends (from the Yad Natan school) to work at Kibbutz Hanita. His transfer to work during this short period greatly impressed the members of the economy. In mid-July 1967, he was drafted into the IDF and after a basic training period he underwent a course for a tank mechanic, and in May 1968 he was transferred to Beit She’an and Shiret for about ten months in the Jordan Valley. He was buried at the military cemetery in Nahariya, and the commander of his unit wrote to his parents in a letter of condolence that he knew their son personally, while he was in the hospital from a previous injury. : “The peace of mind and his dedication to work were assessed by his comrades in arms. In his restrained manner, and in his quiet spirit he left among his friends a space that is difficult to bear “
