Goldberg, Aharon (The Runchik)


Son of Dvora and Menashe, was born in 1932 in Tel Aviv and completed his studies at the Bialik School. Then he learned the shoemaking industry. Before joining the Gadna, he joined the Gadna youth movement, and in 1947 he left with his group in the Hanoar Haoved youth movement to work as a conscript in Kibbutz Hulata. On January 20, 1948, he was sent to a hospital in Haifa where he died of his wounds on the 20th of January 1948. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
