Gold, Daniel (Danny)

Daniel ben Robert and Jenny, was born on the 25th day of Shevat February 15, 1958 in Kiryat Tivon. In the beginning of ebuary 1977, Daniel was drafted into the IDF. and assigned to the infantry. In August 1977, for medical reasons, he was transferred to the air force. Where he took a course in the IAF Technical School and was authorized work at the aviation technical warehouse. In his new unit he acclimatized and was loved and accepted by his new friends. He liked to help others with advice and action, and was loved and respected by the soldiers of the unit. On the 4th of Heshvon, 4th of November 1978 Danny was killed in the line of duty. He was laid to rest in the military section of the cemetery in Kiryat Tivon, leaving a mother and two brothers behind. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, “Danny fulfilled his role in the army as a quiet, modest but multi-action man. “
