Son of, Miriam and Isaac, was born on October 1, 1954 in Jerusalem, where he studied at the Henrietta Szold elementary school in Jerusalem and completed his studies at the Jerusalem High School. At the Horis-Mann School in New York, as part of an exchange of students between the Jerusalem High School and the New York High School. During his stay in the United States, he decided to act to reduce the social gap in Israel. son of was a member of the Scouts troop in the Modi’in tribe in Jerusalem, and before joining the IDF, he volunteered for a year of service in the “Oded” nucleus in the development town of Ofakim In solidarity with the youth of social distress, he chose to serve in the IDF in May 1973, ” in the south. Because of the limitations of his vision, he was forced to leave his unit, and before the Yom Kippur War he was supposed to join the Intelligence Corps. During the transition period the war broke out and son of returned to the commando unit, although he no longer belonged to it. During the Yom Kippur War he fought with the soldiers of the commando unit, in the central sector of Sinai. On October 19, 1973, during an assault on the Urha outpost west of the Suez Canal, he was killed. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. His friends in the unit published the booklet “We Remember Son of”.
