Glusman, Yosef (Yo)

Son of Golda and Yakov (one of the wealthiest merchants in Germany) was born on March 4, 1919 in Berlin, the capital of Germany, where he attended a high school. After the War of Independence, he participated in battles in the Galilee and accompanied convoys, then joined the unit of the Negev Brigade. On October 21, 1948, he fell from a stray bullet in the streets of Be’er Sheva, standing guard next to a jeep, first buried in Dorot and later transferred to eternal rest in the cemetery in Kfar Giladi.
