Glickin, Theodore (Tude)

Theodore, son of Luba and Moshe Glickin (a veteran of the Second Aliya, the founding director of Migdal Farm prior to World War I), was born in 1920 in Haifa and was the first child in Hadar Hacarmel. On the 21st of Tevet 5708 (January 3, 1948), at nine o’clock in the evening, while serving on behalf of the Haganah on Herzl Street in Hadar Hacarmel, he was shot dead. Theodore was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
