Glick, Israel


Ben Ilona and Michael (Laszlo), was born in 1921 in Arad, southwest of Transylvania. He graduated from a Hungarian school and a vocational high school in the Department of Radio Technicians. He joined the “Gordonia” movement, embarked on the “escape route” and in 1945 managed to immigrate to Israel with the help of soldiers of the Jewish Brigade. He settled in Haifa and worked there in a trade. In the winter of 1948, he was drafted into the Carmeli Brigade and on the 28th of Adar 5708 (28.2.1948), while fulfilling his duty at the Mishmar position, was injured and fell, and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
