Glazer, Zohar (Szlyck)
Ben Roza and Yosef. He was born on the 6th of Elul 5719 (September 1959) in the city of Vilna, Lithuania, and immigrated to Israel with his family in 5729. The family settled in Bat Yam. Zohar studied for three years in an elementary school in his hometown and continued his studies, first at the Yitzhak Sade School, then at Sokolov School, and completed his studies at the Holtz High School of Electronics Zohar joined the Betar youth movement, played soccer and loved to swim and surf the Bat Yam beach. During his free time he danced for the sixties, traveled with his friends, especially in the northern part of the country during the flowering period. Zohar was accepted in society and loved to help his friends and family. Zohar was drafted into the IDF in November 1977. He was assigned to the Israel Air Force, where he specialized in professional and unique courses, and when his time came to leave compulsory service he responded to his commanders’ summons and signed another year of service in the career army. After graduating, Zohar studied at Tel Aviv University and was certified as an electronics engineer, and he worked for Opterok and Red Bint Computers, and during that time he gave his part in reserve service in security positions.
