Glazen, Shalom Chaim
Son of Mazal and Yitzhak-Yehuda, was born on the 12th of Av, 5722 (August 6, 2222) in Jerusalem. His father was a member of the General Committee of the Yemenite community in Jerusalem. He studied at the “Tachkemoni Torah” school and Mashbir worked as a driver and was one of the best soccer players in Jerusalem. In the War of Independence, he took part in the defense of Jerusalem in a unit of the Etzel, and four months after his marriage, on the 4th of Iyar 5708 (June 4, 1948), he fell in the Kerem Avraham neighborhood and was buried in Sheikh Bader A. He left a pregnant wife. and a child was born about seven months after his death, was called Shalom Chai, on his behalf, on the 28th of Elul 5710 (10.9.1950) he was transferred to the eternal military cemetery at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
