Glaster, Zvi (Chaslav)


Was born on July 13, 1929, in Lodz, Poland, and was forced to leave school at the outbreak of World War II and was taken by the Germans to the age of 10 and transferred over the years from camp to camp. He made aliyah in 1948 and participated in various battles, and in an army vehicle, on the 25th of Elul 5708 (29.9.1948) from the Afikim to Ashdot Yaakov, the vehicle was overturned, and Zvi was killed, and he was buried in Ashdot Ya’akov. On the 13th of Av 5710 (27.7.1950), he was laid to rest in the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery.
