Glander, Yitzhak-Yosef


Son of Chana and Mordechai-Isur, he was born on June 2, 1919 in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. He joined the Irgun and made his first training there, and on February 19, 1947 he left Germany with his brother and immigrated to Eretz Israel on the “Ben Hecht” ship, where he continued his activities and continued his training. – The immigrants joined the Irgun and were sent to the front of Ramla. Yitzhak-Yosef fell on June 2, 1948 in Ramle during the counter-attack by the Arabs on the spot. He fought until the last bullet. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
