Ginot, Eliyahu (“Eli”)


Son of Eliezer and Hannah. He was born on March 27, 1932, in Butra-Dorni, Romania. After his parents perished during the Second World War he immigrated to Israel (in 1944). He attended an elementary school in the kibbutz. In 1950 he was drafted into the IDF. He participated in the Sinai Campaign and among Abu-Agila, on the 28th of Mershvan 5717 (2/11/1956), fell and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. He left a wife and a son.
