Gilad Ella

Staff Sergeant Gilad Ella, son of Catherine and Shlomo. He was born on May 25, 1997 in Jerusalem. A third child in the family, brother of Ehud and Shani. On July 31, 2016, Gilad, a resident of Jerusalem, was drafted into the IDF and was stationed in the Armored Corps, trained as tank commander and served at the Shizafon training base. Staff Sergeant Gilad Ella fell during his service on September 9, 2018. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, leaving behind his parents, brother and sister.
