Gidoni, Liel

Son of Mazal and Eliyahu, the younger brother of Zion, Nir and Or, was born in Jerusalem on March 5, 1993, and grew up in a warm and cohesive family. “In mid-March 2012, Liel joined the Givati Brigade, and after successfully passing the training, joined the brigade’s spearhead, the reconnaissance unit. First Sergeant Liel Gidoni fell in a battle in Rafah during Operation Tzuk Eitan on August 1, 2014, Was twenty-one years old when he fell. He was brought to Rest in the Mount Herzl Military Cemetery in Jerusalem. Survived by his parents and three brothers.
