Giat, Amram (Ami)

Amram (Ami), son of Sarah and Shalom Giat, was born on October 27, 1964, in the village of Yavetz in the Sharon region. On July 2, 2005, Amram joined the Israel Border Police. Ami lived with his wife Tamar and their daughter in Kfar Yavetz. Senior sergeant Amram fell in the line of duty on the 16th of Elul 5766 (18.9.2016). He was fifty-two years old when he fell. He was laid to rest in the military section of the Tel Mond cemetery. Ami is survived by his wife and daughter, mother and six brothers and sisters.
