Ghanem, Raad

Son of Noah and Asad. Raed was born in Beit Jann in the Upper Galilee on December 12, 1974. In 1999, Raed was recruited to the Israel Police, the Border Police. During the service, he advanced to the rank of First Sergeant. Raad married Anayat. The couple lived in Beit Jann, where they raised two sons – Yaniv and Halal. Raed fell in the line of duty on 24.6.2008. Thirty-three and a half years dead. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Beit Jann. He left a wife and two children, a father, six sisters and three brothers.
