Getter, Avner

Son of Miriam and David, was born on the 16th of June 1960 in Tiberias. Avner joined the Israel Defense Forces in May 1978 and served as a technical lieutenant in the Israel Air Force, where he underwent training in basic training and was trained in professional courses. Two years later, in February 1981, he was promoted to sergeant. On Independence Day, April 21, 1980, Avner was driving in a civilian car on the Yavniel-Kinneret road near the Alumot intersection, where seven people were injured in an accident. He was buried in the military cemetery in Tiberias and left behind his parents and six brothers and sisters.
