Gerstel, Shraga-Pibush

He was born in 1878 in Bochnia, Poland, and in 1920 he immigrated to Eretz Israel and worked as a laborer, and composed songs, mainly songs of pioneers and loved to sing on the 5th of Nissan, He was murdered on the way and his body was not found, and his memorial was erected in the old cemetery in Tel Aviv, and his memory was immortalized in the “People’s Book” and in the journal Kuntress. His burial is unknown
