Ben Tovah and Eliezer. Born on December 27, 1974 in Bat Yam, brother of Anat. From his early years, Ronen was a very curious and alert child who wanted to know and understand everything. When he visited the garden, the teacher was enchanted by him and praised him. He had a comfortable temperament and always had good friendships with his many friends. Ronen liked animals and raised his dog Muki with love. Ronen attended the “Moledet” elementary school in Be’er Sheva, and the sixth high school in the real world. A boy with a talent, sharp and witty, who stood out in his special personality. He was particularly prominent in mathematics and science. He graduated with honors. The principal of the high school where he studied, described his unique character: “Ronen was something special … he was one of the leading students, yet he showed no arrogance, and every year when he received a certificate of excellence, And his high contribution to society and to the state could have been great … Ronen was a strong person, a sensitive person, calculating and with a lot of joy in life. The school served as a role model for Ronen. ” For Ronen, the friendship was a supreme value. Glad to help, without being asked and not in order to receive a reward. He was surrounded by many friends and loving friends. A model child and a wonderful friend. Sensitive, gentle and warm-hearted. Ronen gave respect to his parents and was a loving brother to his older sister, Anat. During his free time he played basketball and during the summer vacations went out to work. He was successful in his work and was greatly appreciated for his willingness and his charming and honest personality. He knew his salary wisely, and with it he bought him a personal computer and even a driving lesson. Prior to joining the IDF, Ronen underwent psychometric tests and received high grades: In mid-August 1993, Ronen was drafted into the IDF and assigned to the Armored Corps. He successfully completed the basic training course, was sent to continue his training in the “professions” course, and finished with high grades. Ronen received the rank of Corporal, went on to continue the Armored Corps course in the training of the company’s platoon, and was chosen to take a course in tank commanders. According to his commanders, Ronen was very professional. He was an exemplary soldier, disciplined, thorough and professional, with a high personal level and a high work ethic, and had command potential for the officer. According to his comrades in the tank squad, Ronen was a proud armored corps member, full of motivation to achieve high achievements at the end of the course, and to be a tank commander and an officer. In one of his conversations with his father, Ronen said: “I will be a tough commander. I will demand the maximum from my soldiers. But on the other hand, I will take care of the soldiers and guard them, as if they were my children. “On June 13, 1994, Ronen fell in the line of duty and was put to rest in the military cemetery in Be’er Sheva. Survived by his parents and sister. At the age of nineteen and a half, Ronen was falling. After his death he was promoted to sergeant. In a letter of consolation to the family, the unit commander wrote: “Ronen was a highly motivated soldier with a strong desire to succeed in the tank commanders course.
