Gershuni, Netanel (“Nati”)
The youngest son of his parents Yair and Hannah. He was born on September 11, 1952 in Haifa. He studied at the elementary school in Nazareth Illit and from eighth grade until 12th grade he studied at the Reali School in Haifa, where he began his activities in “Tzofim”, as a group leader in a Haifa suburb. At the same time, he worked within the framework of the school, in various committees, including the Foreign Affairs Committee, where he maintained ideological social relations with various schools in Israel. In the twelfth grade, Nati made a crystallized nucleus that went to the Kibbutz as part of the Nahal Brigade and later served as the secretary of the nucleus, initiated and edited the nuclear newspaper “Tif-Taf.” Nati was kind, kind, He was satisfied with what he had, was sober and reassuring about him, and he was able to take advantage of every minute of the day. His agenda is not divided for hours, but for hours and minutes, not out of coercion, but out of the ability to do, and in finding many ways to deal with it, which require the use of time logically. In his studies, he was above average and at the end of his high school studies he was awarded a prize for excellence, and all of Nati’s activities dealt with people: family members, friends, teachers, children, neighbors, passersby, etc. All of what Nati did was motivated by an enormous urge to act for the benefit of others: to correct, to add, to beautify, to understand and primarily to act, and all these are accompanied by grace, laughter and good humor, . He had a great warmth that was reflected from his brown eyes, the good and the understanding, always accompanied by a kind smile. He was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces during the third week of November 1970. On the first day of his enlistment, on the 19 th of December 1971, a year after his enlistment, he fell to the age of nineteen. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa. Members of the core group at Kibbutz Be’eri (near the Gaza Strip) published a book in his memory
