Gershon, Jacob

Son of Keren and Mordechai. Jacob was born in Ashkelon on March 15, 1950. When Yaakov enlisted in the IDF, he did his regular service in the Armored Corps and reached the post of deputy commander of the camp. After his release he enlisted in 1971 for the police – first for a tour, part of the time in the movement, and mainly for the detective. Sergeant Gershon fell during his service on November 15, 1980. He was injured in a car accident when he was in a detective vehicle while he was sitting next to the driver, before he died, he was able to help evacuate two other casualties, Including the connection and the weapons, and even went to the ambulance on his own, but died before he received treatment, when he was 30 years old, and Gershon was laid to rest in the Holon cemetery.
