Gerdis, Ben-Zion

Son of-Zion Gerdis was born in 1917 in Krustpils, Latvia, and moved to Riga in 1920. In 1935 he immigrated to Palestine as a member of Hanoar Hatzioni and joined Kibbutz Miflas near Kfar Saba. On October 26, 1938, he was killed in an accident while on guard duty and was put to rest in the cemetery of Kfar Saba.
